Designer Dagmar Daley's background in architecture and designing children's clothing can clearly be seen in the considered details of Work Of Fiction's pieces. Inspiration from the past is reflected in the use of beautiful, quality fabrics, and the intentional, functional placements of buttons and ties. Yet, the simple and modern designs feel fresh. 

To keep working closely with the pattern makers, graders, cutters, suppliers and the sewers, every piece is made locally in San Francisco and Los Angeles.
