Here’s a short history:
Azaleas opened with a small dream in 2002. The concept of lingerie as clothing was novel and initially opened with a robust camisole and bed jacket assortment. 
I never thought I’d start from a sleepy block on 10th street in the East Village and move on “up” to 2nd avenue.
The new East Village storefront was and is the perfect space for us. Slightly sunken for privacy but still well-trafficked, the avenue exposure helped our business thrive and grow.
We used to throw epic parties in collab with other women-owned brands and are starting to revisit smaller, more intimate in-store events. Make sure you're on our mailing list to hear about them!
