"Most people are very self-conscious on the beach, so I strive to make women exude confidence when wearing one of my designs," says Curran. A first generation Italian-American, Curran is inspired by everything from Italian vintage dresses and antique china patterns to the stripe on a quilt she saw in someone's home. Each season, new silhouettes are developed in the line to fulfill the hottest trends from the runway.  Being a fuller-cup gal herself, Lisa makes sure that her large tops fit up to a DD! About the designer Curran started creating the trendy, stylish bikinis she used to search for in stores, generating overnight buzz that landed her first account at Barneys New York. Not just another assortment of string bikinis in different prints, Lisa Curran Swim quickly evolved from a line of bikinis into a full, sophisticated, chic and versatile swimsuit collection.
