Why we love Loungewear Betty

Azaleas has been a fan of Loungewear Betty since our conception! Designer Monni McCleary is also a neighbor of ours in the East Village of Manhattan. She literally lives and designs on our block! 

We love Monni's creations because each of her pieces bring a whole party of fun to the bedroom (and beyond). Always expect an abundance of pink bows, ruffled bums, leopard prints and glam. 


About Monni McCleary
Monni grew up in Chicago and moved to NYC to study fashion design at Parsons. She has designed for icons such as Betsey Johnson and Diane von Furstenberg. Blending her passion for old Hollywood glamour (think 50's pin-ups) with her wonderful eye for detail, Monni constantly creates sensational goodies for women to feel sexy in and about.

Monni's an animal lover, so she only uses prints to express her love for leopard, not fur. She was also  too kind in giving our shop dog, Gustavo, a leopard print bed (to match his leopard bone) for his Nap Time.
