Why
we love deborah marquit
Ok, so
"Sex and the City" was so five years ago; but you
know that the stylist, Pat Field, is like THE woman
to worship, right? Cindy has met her in person and
totally geeked out: "She was so cool, I was
squealing like a little school girl, whatever that
means." So, isn't it appropriate that Azaleas
carries this line that Pat adores?
Azaleas offers her Fluorescent collection: delicate
French Chantilly lace lined with Italian mesh and a
plunging demi-cup silhouette which guys go gaga
over.
Why Fluorescent?
Fluorescent
color brings 'light to your body' and is appealing
to the psyche. Fluorescent, also called, Day-Glo and
Neon... it is another color choice, unexpected ...
fun! And it glows under black-light.
About Deborah
So the
story goes: Deborah's first sale of lingerie in her
now famous fluorescent colors was in 1984 - a measly
$800 sold to Pat Field. But of course, the fashion
seeker knew a rising star when she saw one. Her
second sale was for $42,000 to Bloomindales which
distributed her line across the country. Now you can
find it in exclusive stores from Barneys in NYC to
Tokyo.
Sarah Jessica Parker wore the fluorescent orange bra
and g-string in the "Gay Disco" Episode. She calls
it "'day-glo' check it out."
